Snow Days Are Not For MeToday it is still snowing. The roads are worse. The weather sucks, students are going to have a hard time getting in to school. Perfect day for a snow day right? All the Weld and Larimer County schools are closed due to weather. Businesses are closed due to weather. But is my school closed for the weather? No. Of course not. I can't not go because I have a huge test. So I get to leave three hours early to ensure that I can drive about 20 mph the entire way to Greeley without dying.
Katie does not get snow days. Its sad and totally unfair. Why can't nature cut me a break.
I'm skipping my first two classes. Hoping that they call the snow day before I leave. If not then if they could call it while I'm en route that works too, I'll just turn around and come home. Not really holding too much hope though. *irritated*
